More Hard Surfacin...

After practicing hard surface modeling with the plumbing in the last post I thought I'd take another crack at the helmet from 2 posts ago.  I opted to do it in max since my pc just cant seem handle the load zbrush requires for hard surface modeling.   I needs to upgrade to a beefier machine soon.  So anyways, here's what I have so far.

Hard Surfacin...

Been practicing my hard surface modeling while trying to apply some tips and techniques a buddy of mine from work suggested.  Hopefully it will  help me become a faster modeler. Even though most of my modeling is done for the sake of creating proxies; I find it helps sell the concept. On the other hand the problem is in not letting the creation of a "detailed" proxy defeat the purpose of a " quick" concept.
