Yeesh...

 I'm not doing a very good job of updating the ol' blog.

I've been tied up in several NDA enforced projects the past few years, but I am finally getting around to doing more personal projects.  I hope to have updates to share on those here soon!

For now, here's some sketches I dug up as I was going through some older work that hasn't been published.  I think these are safe to show; as these were part of a "blue sky" exploration project pitch.

For this project we knew we wanted some kind of "clash of themes"; something like a sci-fi inspired antagonist invading a high fantasy themed world.  Admittedly very on the nose, but just to get the ball rolling. So low hanging fruit exploration was considered, and I was itching for a reason to play around with a theme based on "War of the Worlds"!

The exploration helped in not only getting the discussion going, but also helped identify pipeline concerns and questions.  Basically helping us go through the paces as a production team.  Anyway, here's a couple pieces from that.
